PVC Sheet
Our robust PVC roofs are the ideal cover for canopies, tunnels or buildings where no sensitive goods are stored. The roof coverings are made of highly tear-resistant industrial PVC - a strong, durable and cost-effective material compared to other roofing materials. These PVC panels are specially designed for long-term roofing and they deliver decades of protection against sun, rain, hail or frost. Due to their low weight, PVC roofs can be installed quickly and cost-effectively. This is also an advantage if damaged panels need to be replaced. The translucent material also allows sufficient daylight into the building.
Corrugated Sheet Metal
Corrugated metal sheeting is the ideal material to ensure high protection from all weather conditions. They are also extremely low-maintenance and durable alternatives to PVC sheeting. In addition, roofing made from corrugated sheet metal provides a strong surface to mount solar panels for generating electricity.
Anchoring
For maximum stability, HR-Structures halls are anchored using either pegs or dowels.
Ground Pegs
Using ground pegs is the most common and cost-effective way of anchoring a canopy. They can secure a canopy to a wide variety of substrates without any problems. To ensure optimum fastening, the surface layer, base layer and frost protection layer of the ground should total at least 80cm.
Dowels
If the substrate of the canopy is not suitable for fastening with ground pegs, we recommend installation with heavy-duty dowels. Anchoring a building with dowels always requires a concrete or strip foundation, which must be poured in advance.

General Information
Industrial canopies are established as temporary or permanent storage solutions in areas such as logistics, manufacturing, wholesale and retail. Goods can be stored in a weather-resistant and well-protected manner and prepared for transport.

Anchoring
We anchor industrial canopies using ground pegs or heavy-duty dowels. This depends on the condition of the surface, which our experts will check carefully to ensure safe installation. Ground pegs are the cheapest and easiest type of anchoring for canopies. They can be used on most surfaces without issues. To ensure optimal anchoring, the top layer, base layer and frost protection layer of the floor should be at least 80cm thick. However, this anchoring requires co-ordination with the local authorities.
If ground pegs are not possible to anchor the industrial canopy, we a recommend installing the canopy with heavy-duty dowels. When anchoring with dowels, a concrete strip or full foundation must be poured in advance. Please contact us if you have questions.
Planning Permission
Depending on the service life, the building type, how it is anchored to the ground and the local requirements, the requirement for a building permit will vary. For a temporary construction according to DIN EN 13782, the submission of an inspection book is usually necessary and no complex planning permission is required. However, planning permission is usually required for a more permanent structure. The building owner is responsible for obtaining this but we are happy to help. We work closely with a town planning agency that specialises in planning permission approvals.
Roof Panels
Our robust PVC roof panels are perfect for canopies, tunnels and for industrial building applications where no sensitive goods are stored. The sturdy sheets are made of highly tear-resistant industrial PVC which is a strong and durable material that is also extremely cost-effective compared to other roofing materials. The PVC sheets of an industrial canopy offers decades of protection against sun, rain, hail or frost and has been specially designed for the long service life of the canopy. They can be installed quickly and cost-effectively, and are easily replaced in the unlikely event of damage. The material is also translucent so a good level of daylight passes through the roof into the building.
Flying Buildings
The main feature of the mobile construction is the possibility of repeated assembly and dismantling in different locations. An inspection book from HR-Structures can be supplied upon request, which offers the advantage of a simplified building permit process. As a rule, temporary structures are permitted for a period of three months, although this can be extended. The anchoring is done here using pegs, but can also be done using dowels on an existing floor slab.
